Our Process
Step 1
pre-construction
Whether you have a design team or need help finding one, we’ll collaborate to make pre-construction smooth and intentional. We begin by understanding your goals, then help guide design decisions, permitting, and planning. As experienced mountain builders, we offer practical solutions tailored to the challenges of Summit County. Working closely with your architect, we ensure your plans align with your lifestyle, vision, and budget. With clear communication, permit support, and expert guidance, we lay the groundwork for a home that’s beautiful, buildable, and built to last.
Step 2
Construction
During construction, you’ll have full visibility through our Buildertrend software—track progress, view photos and videos, approve selections, and stay updated on scheduling from anywhere. Whether you’re local or remote, your dedicated project manager keeps you informed every step of the way. On site, we work with trusted subcontractors and maintain high standards through regular inspections. We manage every detail with care and efficiency, ensuring the process is clear, organized, and focused on delivering a home that meets your expectations.
Step 3
Post-construction
Once construction is complete, we walk through the entire home with you, create a final punch list, and confirm every item is addressed before move-in. From there, you’ll transition into the warranty phase with digital access to care instructions and all warranty documents. We proudly offer a one-year warranty on our workmanship—well beyond what many contractors provide. Even after you’ve settled in, we’re here to answer questions and support your home for the long term. Your satisfaction and peace of mind remain our priority.

In 2009, we purchased Mathison Custom Builder’s award-winning Parade home. We looked at many different homes, but this home stood out above the rest. In 2011, we wanted to build a small addition, who better to use than the one who knows every square inch of this house? The addition came in on time and budget with the utmost quality. In the five years we have owned the home, it has proven to be very well built and a pleasure to come home to.
